It's rare, thats what it is. Canada built it's own version of the 3/4 ton Weapons Carrier called the APT (for Air Portable I suppose) which had the longer Canadian engine and a narrower body.
What you found sounds like a variation on that, maybe a knockdown ambulance version or office truck version. A good few of the basic truck still exist in Canada, and a few in Norway, but I don't know of any surviving APT variants apart from the Weapons carrier body.
