Some things to check;

1. Jack each tire up 1/4 inch off the ground and rotate to check for out of round condition. Rims and tires are not real true and you may experience some high and low areas dispite the best efforts of tire manufactures. Anything more than 1/16 you may want to have the tire trued by a tire shop. You can try home truing by marking each side of the tire's low area, the center of the high side (on rim), dismount and rotate your tire until rim mark is in center of low marks.

2. No matter what any shop says, BALANCE those tires!!!!!!

3. Mount your rims with the valve stem located as close to the brake drum's counter balance as possible.

4. Have the toe-in check.

5. Check your drag link steering ball springs (both ends) for broken springs. This will allow a lot of slop in your steering and can result in shimmy/jerking.

6. Check the knuckle drag (25lbs). If it gets to loose, shimmy/jerking.

I have listed these in the order to be checked. Work through them until your problems corrected.
