This may never happen on a W500, but it is something to keep in mind. I had a Jeep CJ5 with no suspension modification but really wide aggressive tires. We were cruising back on the interstate at 55mph from a 4-wheeling trip a day's drive away. The Jeep started getting real squirrelly, swerving from side to side in the lane, with real bad body roll. The only way to correct it was to drive under 50mph. Anything above that and it would get out of control again. I thought it was a steering issue. It turned out that the shocks were worn out. Apparently the recent rock crawling had done them in. No other symptoms of shock problems, no bounce, just uncontrollable wander.
