For a short time, I kept my OD command car in my attached garage. If I went out at night, like to close the door, I would hurt myself bumping into it. Probably coming out from a lit house? Same with my Cammy Blazer M1009, nobody saw it in the dusk, due to non-reflectivness. I would get cut off at intersections. So some white bumpers and nose makes some kind of sense, in a non-OE way.
