Body -more damage from fire hose?

I would think that the rapid coolng from hitting it with a hose would do more damage than the heating up. But body parts are stricktly cosmetic- looks good is good..

I wonder about heat treat more- mechanical and frame components. But it takes 800 degrees erso , I doubt if some burning grass and paint would do it?

How springy sre the springs? Glove box? Brake pedal return? Pintle hook latch? Supension collapsed?
