Question on "hung-up" rear end ?

Finally started up the WC-51. We are out on the snow and only one rear tire would spin at a time, either the left or the right, BUT, when it started to move forward and both were turning, the darnest racket would come out of the rear end. Mind-you, this thing had gone through the Teton Dam Flood. Would the spider be hung up ?? Tom
