When you lubricate the Bendix drive, use a dry lubricant like DrySlide (molybdenum disulfide) or flake graphite. Greases and oils will cause problems in cold weather when they get stiff and won't let the Bendix slide correctly. Grease and oil also pick up dust and grit which causes them to stick.
