Todd, It is going to depend where you live as to what the licensing requirements are. GL of late is been very hesitant to issue form 97's that some states require for a title. Buying a truck from them is sort of a crapshoot. You may get a good one and maybe you won't. For a first time buyer I'd recommend going through at dealer and you will have a running truck, with a good title and a truck that you can enjoy. I am not a dealer, but I have a friend that is and I have seen what the trucks look like and the prep work it takes to get a good one.
