I tend to agree, EXCEPT if you can get them for next to nothing, like from a neighbor who bought them years ago for whatever reason and now he has to move or the county's declared them to be "blight". People put windows and insulation in them all the time to convert them to offices, temporary housing, etc., so it can definitely be done. I do think that without a fair bit of work they'd be too cold and dark for a workshop, but they're great for vandal-resistant, weatherproof, animal-proof storage
