If I remember correctly it seems that in late 1980's or somewhere about then Dave Butler of VPW went to and visited somewhere near the United Arab Emirates and a shiek there was into Power Wagons and was going to build a huge scale replica of a PW. I had read about the trip in a issue of the PWA. Don't remember hearing much more about it.In August of 1990 is when the U.S. went into the Gulf Region and things became unstable for tourist,so I guess his project went unnoticed until recently.
