I agree. It's not that many bolts and it's not like you can just check them now and then to see if they're coming loose or have broken. The hassle of taking it all apart again to check or if something breaks is way more than the cost of the factory bolts. What I have a hard time with is those expensive head bolts some of the new engines have that you can only use once because they get permanently stretched when you torque them down. They engine takes a bunch of them and the dealer has you by the short-n-curlies because you have to use the exact special bolts.
