Dont know if any one else has done this, but it drove me nuts that they don't come apart to be cleaned properly. They were covered with dried on junk. I did'nt want to drill out the rivets, so i ground the pressed end of the rod off(they were all loose anyway) and had the rods drilled and tapped. Worked out pretty good. I just figured out the pic posting thing too, thought this would be a good first one.
