We have a 1940 VF404 and haven't heard of many people with them. It doesn't have the original bed because someone lengthened the frame by 40 in. We are going to shorten it pretty soon. It would be cool to find the original dump bed or just see how the flat was made so we can make one identical. Don't even know if it turns over yet but there isn't any water in the oil. That's a good sign. Where did you guys find these trucks in the first place? We got ours off of a ranch outside of town on the Central Coast of California.
