on small items, dont forget to check with gun refinishers. a lot of local gunsmiths no lnger plate, but use larger outfits to do their work. rebel gun refinishing in florida has a website you can look at, or if you had several things to do you can go to the brownells.com site, and get the stuff to do small runs of electroless nickle yourself. good luck
