Well I finally just painted my hood badges yesterday. I finally realized I'm not building a show truck, I'm gonna use it. So I sandblasted them, filled the pits then painted them stainless steel color, they came out great! Now I can spend $400 on stuff I really need for the truck! Come to think of it didn't a set of badges just sell for around $500 on E-Pay! way too much for my blood.
