My dad bought this Townwagon new in December of 1965, five days before I was born. I literally grew up in this truck. My father passed away two and a half years ago. I have so many memories of us pulling people out of ditches in the snow/ice of Charlotte, NC. One time, my dad deciced to go to a local creek bed and load the back of the truck and the trailer with wet sand from the creek. Everything was fine until we tried to climb up the sttep hill to get home. He winched us all the way up the hill without a problem. The only thing Dad was concerned about was pulling some trees down. What an awesome truck with awesome memories attached.
