I'm not sure I understand #4. I do not have a solinoid wired into the system or an ammeter but the battery charges up great. What kind of solinoid are you refering to? What difference would the ammeter make? I checked the VR yesterday and found one of the points stuck shut. I cleaned it up and tried to see if the problem still existed. It does, so it sounds like I have more than one problem infecting my truck. Darn!
