look up a sign supply store in your area. they make a adhesive remover for the vinyl stickers. If I remember it is not too expensive. I used to use it to take stickers off of tractors before I painted them, Your local paint shop will also have a spray on remover, will bubble it right off and not hurt that glaring shine.
