For years I have been splicing a cord on a Milwalkie 1/2" Drill Motor. It has a twist in cord and now nothing is left to spice onto it is flush with the adapter. Guess I will have to break down and buy a new cord. This was Milwalkies way of solving the problem so you had to buy there cord to fix it not just open it up and splice a new one on! Mark H.
