I got tired of throwing away newer vacuums so I picked up a Kirby at a thrift store for 20 bucks and it needed a belt. they still have Kirby service centers out here so I picked up aa new belt. Aircraft aluminum, made in USA, no cord probs. still works 7 years later. If it breaks I will fix it. no plastic tabs! All aircraft aluminum. by the way, its at least 30 years old!
