We have power as of 2:20 this afternoon.
My wife had called Pudget Energy this morning and asked when they would get to us since all of the houses around us had power. They said maybe Monday. She hung up not happy. As she hung up there was a knock at the door. It was the lineman who she and my son had talked to the other night down the road. (She had asked him when we would get power as we had 1 and 3 year old grandkids in the house. He said he would see what they could do). We he was at the door and said they would try and fix it later today but did not have a latter to get up on our roof. My wife said not a problem we did. They came back just before two with a crew of 8 and had it up in no time. Apparently, they were from the crew doing the repairs at the intersection below us. They only had large trucks with lift buckets. Apparently they specialize in constructing high tension transmission lines. That is why they did not have a ladder.
Again it is who you talk to that gets things done.
