I have my running boards on all my trucks shot with Line-X. I only have the actual walk area shot. In the picture you can see the rear of the Line-X at the Cab rear, the front of the Line-X ends at the front of the shadow area.

The Line-X is non slip, wont wear off, never needs painting. The rest of the running board is paint. Since its not walked on, the paint nevre gets worn off.
