paul go back to the winter of 78,our first snow was 17 inches on oct 17 1978 it all melted ,temps back in the sixties xmas and new years day was in the sixties the next snow was on valitines day,little amounts. south of us around mass.they were buried with snow all winter the following winter of 79 on xmas day the hightest temp of the day was 19 below and went to 53 below,these temps lasted almost a week so who knows steve from warm and frostless maine
