Sort of, kinda maybe. I have the new NP-435 in, different temporary transfer case in and the noise is now only for a short period in third as I am upshifting. Before, it was constant, so I guess I am heading in the right direction. Maybe it will disapear altoghter, kind of like the movie "Christine" I drove it with the rear driveshaft out for a short distance and thought it might have been better but didnt have time for a more extended run as I had the fan belts of as the power steering pump was grinding itself up. Once I get the steering issues ironed out I will be back to scoping it out. As it is now, I could live with it, its an annoyance but liveable. It would just be nice to know what was wrong after all this work to find it.
