following that last post, make a jig for your slide hammer by taking the adjusting screw out of some good vise grips,make a threaded rod adapter, and youll be able to use your vise grips to pull out just about anything. ive got one of these made up for a Morgan Nokker with about an eight pound slide head. its never let me down.
