Yes a Cummins has plenty of power but that thick black smoke is just wasted unburned fuel. At the price of fuel these days I want to get the most for my money so even with an Edge programmer I get the power without the thick black smoke on my '01 3500. Not to burst your bubble further but Dodge builds the trucks in Mexico.
