It is quite common for a vehicle transportor to take a vehicle part of the way and drop it off in a yard for the next carrier to pick up. The next carrier is going closer to the final destination.

The first carrier is going in another direction.

This procedure helps keep costs down but the quality of the delivery can be hurt depending on what the customer is willing to pay for.

If you have a valuble car and want it quickly without delivery interuption, you obviously pay a higher fee.

If you don't mind a car that will be unloaded and loaded several times, sits in a yard enduring the elements, and gets to you in several weeks instead of 1-5 days, then you go with the cheapest price and usually a multicar carrier.

NOTE: This happens often but NOT all the time.

Also, when rquesting info from transporters, give your contact info.

At the present time, what I do is very personalized service. I usually transport one special vehicle at a time. I take excellent care of it and can get into difficult areas for loading and off loading.

Sometimes my prices tend to be higher. But you get what you pay for.

Thank you,
