Those plastic skins do have some "memory". The trick is to get them popped back ASAP. Same day is best. A friend waited 4 days and then brought it over. I got him a folding chair (have one of the kids do this) and let him heat it with a hair dryer for 20 min or so. Then I got a small block of wood and a pry bar and popped it out from the backside. It returned to 98% original. The longer you wait, the more it loves that new shape! ...and remembers.
