power brake booster

Fleabag here, I have a 1951 ffpw. I also have a brake power booster that I cabbaged off a later ffpw. I want to know if it would be worth the trouble to use the booster? Will the booster really help the performance of the brakes alot? Also anybody have a drawing or sketch of the way the booster is supposed to be plumbed up? Thanks Fleabag!!
