Goes to show that it can be done! Thanx for the link with the photos. They had to beef it up quite a bit.
I'd agree with Russ about the strength of an unmodified frame remembering the petite frame on a '58 Willys Wagon that I had for a few years in the early '90's. I'd also agree with Manny that I don't like the looks of Willy's conversions put on full size truck frames. I've seen a few made out of Blazers and they look out of proportion wiht the axles too wide.
Roughly 50% of advertised Willys wagons or pickups have sometime in their life been converted over to some brand (usually GM or Ford) of small block V8, but the Cummins is a lot heavier.
