Post a picture of your set up, sure you dont have a key sheared off on the winch? If you have routed the wire rope from the winch drum down to the tail block and then back up the block hanging on the wishbone at the top of the a/frame and then back down to the rear bumper and hooked it will pull up a 30 foot set of poles, hard to say what u have got wrong with no way to see it. You could pick up(and lower them too) a set of 40 foot poles if you have your blocks strung correctly. Good luck, is this a pto winch or a hyd winch??? I operate a 30 ton Mack oil rig up with 3 winches, ask away. Sure you have not quit lifting them before they raise up, sometimes peeps get scared at the noise, hard to say with out seeing what u have set up.
