Ernie, you absolutely correct, it's starting to sound way to familiar. I am #6164 and joined the MVCC to enjoy playing and learning about our favorite toys. I dropped out of them club at the last break-up. I did not join to become engulfed in politics and back stabbing.
Another thing that others me is a recent statement that the club's majority interest is in re-enacting. What part of Military Vehicle Preservision don't they get?
Don't get me wrong I am very enthustic about re-enacting and think it brings realisium and a lot more history to our shows and others. In fact sometimes it puts chills down my back!!! I really love it but my first love is driving and working on my old Dodges
I truly feel there is room for every one in this hobby. All of the friends I have in the club are to busy talkin trucks and parts to talk about the politics of the club.
Just some thoughts! John Geidl
