Well, after reading the replies here, and on a similiar thread I posted on the Dodge Sweptline Forum, I've decided to look into electronic ignition and an Edlebrock carb.

Sound reasonable?

I haven't changed anything about the engine in the over 20 years I've owned the truck, but somewhat more reliable ignition and a better fuel system might be nice.
