My 9 year old son had to write a story for school. It could have been on absolutely any topic and he chose to write in about our trip to look at a Power Wagon. I share his story below. Power Wagons are a wonderful way to spend quality time with your kids. I am so proud of him. He made an A and got to read his to the class. I'm sure you have stories as well. Enjoy! We've recently bought a 57 and are restoring it together now.

"Have you ever seen a 50 year old truck that runs? I have in Arkansas. It was awesome. The clunky old thing was tough too. It had a lot of rust but that's ok. I liked seeing that truck.

My Dad and I went on a trip to Arkansas. We drove in his truck there. We stopped in Amite and got breakfast at Burger King. Then I took a long nap. My Dad said I snored loud. I had lots of fun going on the trip.

In the mean time we looked at an old truck. It was called a Dodge Power Wagon. In addition, we rode the clunky old truck up a mountain but we didn't bring it home. I had lots of fun there.

Then Dad and I came back. We rode in his truck home. We drove through Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana. I played my Game Boy a lot on the way. Then we finally got back home.

It was a awesome trip. I had lots of fun looking at the old clunky truck. I got to skip school to go but don't tell anybody. After we looked at the truck I played with all my other cousins. Eventhough we didn't get the truck, we found another one and are working on it right now."
