Well, I can't thank you and Pam enough for being so courageous as to drive basically 2 days straight.

Ron let me briefly explain the whole process.

Two days before I decided to buy the '60 PG Fire Truck, Ron calls me about a duly bed in very nice condition on E bay. We talked for a while by the end of the conversation I convinced him (wasn't very tough to do) to bid on it for me Being the awesome Gentleman that he is. He did so.

I gave him a $$ amount an hoped and prayed that his trigger finger was "snipper ready" as if I had any doubt. So when he called me and said I just birth'd a 60 year old bed. Why I just teared up like my third child had just been born.

Well, If that wwwasn't enough of a sign for me to buy the PG what would it take, beside my wife saying "NO".

Of course she loves this hobby of mine as much as... ah forget it, she relucktantly(?)said yes!!

Did you hear me, she said yes!

Whew, that was close because the money was already in the mail headed in two different directions for both the bed and the PG.

I believe that's called a double whammy.

Anyway Ron's friend picked up the bed from the seller. Ron then picked it up from his friend, trailered it to Ohio and picked up my PG & stopped off to see a PW fire truck. Then Pam and he drove to CT. and delivered my children, soon to be joined at the chassis.

I missed the truck Museum because I was in LI. at a 60th B-Day party, I met Pam,Ron
Terry and Ken at my house, Terry had to leave right after the truck showed up, Linda I hope your feeling better!

We went out for dinner, minutes after getting their I get a call from my son.
"Hey dad" Mark from NJ. is here! Where I said, here he said, I said here! he said yeah here, well send him over.
Just in time to eat, figures.

We all had fun, YES it really is a great truck!

Thank you Jeff Dudas.

Thanks to all that made it possible for me.

Joyfull, thankfull and proud

Bob C.
