Sounds like you've already done the job but for future reference, when you change a master cylinder, if you're careful there will be virtually no air to bleed in your system if you bleed the master cylinder properly before you install it. The brake fluid won't drain out of the brake line when you undo it....any fluid leaking will be coming from the old master cylinder. Think of a straw when you put your thumb over the end & pull it out of your drink....same with your brakes.
There may be a very small amount of air trapped but your lines that one round of bleeding will quickly remove but your brakes will still work well even without bleeding until you have a pal to help you.
