depends upon where the plugs are located
in the late 50's we had a 56 Olds in the
shop the freeze plugs in the back of the
head were leaking
I was about to pull the heads when "BURL AMOS" my boss & and old time Journeyman
said what are you doing
grabbed his 3/8drill with a hole saw attachement - pulled the floor mat & firewall
insullation back - Drilled holes, bent the
firewall back, exposed the leaking plugs, and
told me "this is how we do this job"
changed the leaking plugs, bent the metal firewall back, gooped it up with whatever,
put the mat back & hey better than getting a
hernia R&Ring the heads
