actually had an aircraft (WWII) tach in my
fuelie 55 chev (61engine w/57Fi unit)
two arms the 1000 needle would move as the 100ths spun
was a 283 so the redline was only about 7,000
which was high for those days
close ratio 3 (on the tree) = 65mph low gear
tach had the red night lighting
had other aircraft instruments also
