hey there all. I have some power wagon questions but, first just wanted to apologize for being anti-social for quite some time. things have been very rough for the last 2 years. I have recently remarried (July 8th) to a great woman. she is from Hong Kong, and very smart, sweet and wonderful. we are currently working on getting her residency(what a pain in the butt!). I have been so blessed to find two wonderful women in my short life of 27 years. although things are still financially grueling I am still trying to get the'ol Power Wagon on the road again.
Doug, I wondered if you had any 4x4 parts that would work for my '85 Ram,or know where I could get a 5 speed tranny that would fit my Ram('85 1 ton 2wd (4-speed currently). I would be happy to consider rtading for some things you may need. and btw hows that beautiful 4 door PW!? I haven't been able to afford to install/paint the door and fender yet but, I will get to it! if you could give me a call I'd greatly appreciate it.
To everyone else...... has anyone ever had a fuel pump work the first time out of the box perfectly, then been unable to get the truck to start up again? I have had this happen three times now, every time I put in a new pump she fires right up. I am very highly considering using an in- line electric fuel pump to solve this problem. any ideas would be appreciated. this is driving me nuts! and...... what do you guys think of the 1980's 5-speed Dodge tranny's? are they as strong/reliable as the 4-speed? any opinions would be appreciated.
