The gear wind-up would be be noticeable eventually if you were on dry pavement in 4wd and all the tires had exactly the same loaded rolling radius, other than the drivetrain wouldn't know the difference off road with 6.16 front & 6.17 rear. Like you say if the 2 speed was in high range, your in good shape when in 4wd, high or low range in the transfer box.
