Don't worry we have acquired many tucks. A 1940 VF404 4X4 (off of a ranch out of town), 1962 W100 (my truck), 1964 W200 (Dad's), 1964 W300 (next project), and a 1965 W100. My Dad got interested in these trucks after my Uncle bought a 1961 W100 in 1971. My Dad's first Dodge was a 1963 W200 with a winch and limited-slip front and rear. In '77 he got a 1964 W200 that he still has. I first got interested in these trucks a few years ago. We just finished restoring my '62 W100 shortbed with factory PTO winch (on sweptline registry) that I hope soon to drive to school. My Dad and I have gone to every wrecking yard we can get to. We go up through Nevada into Idaho and Montana on a trip during the summer time and have a great time. Last summer we went to about 15-20 wrecking yards. Just drivin around we saw almost 60 old dodge trucks. The year before we went to some other yards in Montana and Idaho and ended up finding a '64 W300 and '65 W100 that are now ours. It is sure a sickness with no cure! Working on a Power Giant makes you want one. To answer Ron's questions. It is a Hemi because its got the spark plugs in holes in the valve covers. Our friend wants to clean it up put some new paint on it and make it driveable. We live in Paso Robles, Ca. Nice 80 degree weather.
