This is what confuses me. I get mixed opinions on power. Ron posted below that it had good power. Some people praise the DD as the only engine that ever had power and some say it was gutless. My grandfather had an 8v92 in a 10-ton truck that he used for logging. Then he got a Kenworth and put a 12v92 in it. He couldn't have had a higher opinion of them. Both were very powerful and reliable. He did this mostly in the 50s and 60s, but "my" engine is much newer. It came out of a water pump in the 80s. Is there a place I can find definitive HP and Torque ratings on this thing?
