Check my site for pictures of gin poles.
This truck came from western Pa and was used to lay
pipes in oil industry.
If this setup was homemade somebody did a heck of a job.
If anybody wants any further info or constuction details e-mail me.
By running the winch cable thru the sheave and then back to the
truck you can use the winch to adjust the height of the poles.
Then you change the length of the cables running
back to the front corners of the bed to hold the
poles in position.
