It's really easy. Unbolt and remove the bearing retainer. Rotate the input shaft till the notch cut in the dog teeth for the 3-4 shifter sleeve clears the upper teeth of the front cluster shaft gear. Pull it out. The "needle" bearing won't fall out unless you really drop it hard.
