I have a 40 COE, all the trim is present and intact, with one notable exception.
The hood ornament has a cracked base. The ornament is also specific to the 40 COE.
It seems that repairing it will be difficult, as it is cast out of pot metal.
I am a welder, and have never had luck brazing this sort of thing back together.
I was considering casting a new piece, but don't know how expensive it would be.
Any bright ideas? Dim ones appriciated too!
