At the top of the forum is a link to the Power Wagon Page. Click on this link. On the Power Wagon Page you will find Model Year Detail. Follow this link and you should be able to determine what year you are looking at.
If it is a WM300 then it is definitely 1 Ton. The military Power Wagon M-37 is 3/4 Ton.
