Bill,
I'm in the process of installing a boosted master on my B4PW(with v-8 conversion). I recently called the 800 number on the paperwork supplied with the mc for tech assistance, as I had questions regarding mc mounting location, proportioning valve and vacuum piping. He recommended installing a "drip loop" in the hose at the carb. Basically, run the hose up 6 or 8" higher than the point of connection. This will keep gas vapors from destroying the seals in the booster. He also suggested installing a see-thru filter at the high point of this loop to monitor conditions. This may help in your case.(after you've fixed your mc) He also said to connect the vacuum line to the carb not the manifold. If a vacuum leak should develop it would effect all cylinders, not a few, and be less likely to burn any valves. Good luck, Dan O'Day
