while vacuumadvance can cause a slight hesitation,
more likely it's caused by a bad acceleration pump.
chack for a strong spurt of gas into the throat
of the carb when you hit the gas.it should be a
pee stream about like a pencil lead, if not r+r carb ,disasemble,
clean out. chack pumpleather "skirt" for wear or crack.
probably needs "rebuilding" any way. buy kit and reassemble.
