Check for oil be slung in front of engine around crank shaft dampener - indication seal is bad
Take off bellhousing inspection plate and look for fresh oil moving down the engine block - indication seal is bad
If above looks ok, simple gasket replacement. Use silicon seal at all gasket joints and your favorite gasket sealant on rest of engine/pan surface areas.
