I am the maintenance super for Dana's brake plant here in Mo. I wanted to caution those of you new to sandblasting that you MUST invest in a proper hood and respirator. Once the silica is in your lungs it is there forever. It WILL cause you problems, maybe not today, but it will.

We have a powder coat line and the chemicals will strip the goo off of parts but not old paint. You will still have to properly prep them for powdercoating. I do recommend the powdercoating process for durability. It flow coats and seals the entire wheel. This is how factory wheels are usually done. By the way we do not do powdercoating for the public.

Just my $.02 in a nickels worth of space.
